Hey there guys and welcome to this review of the LEGO Duplo Building Set-71 Pieces. I would like to hope that after anyone had read this review, they would have reached the stage where they can confidently say that this is either the best toy for them and their child or that they might be better looking elsewhere for their child’s next toy. I will be speaking from personal experience during this review so it will tend toward the subjective in places but I of course be trying my best to keep all of the facts intact.

The first thing we need to note about this great toy from LEGO is the slightly larger size of the duplo bricks, these bricks are just the right size so that smaller children can play with them without it being particularly dangerous, however there are smaller things than the bricks in this building set and so could well be a choking hazard for chidren under the age of 3. As ever though where this toy is suitable for your child is of course a judgment call.

Another fantastic thing about Lego and indeed duplo is the fact that it allows children to be creative but without creating such a horrible mess of the playroom that you need to spend months cleaning it out. I let my 2 year old play with a toy easel to practice painting the other day and boy what a mistake that was. I still can get the marks off the wall. Duplo however lets them build and design things without the worry of dirtying the walls.
